I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We did here, including the horses. They all got a bran mash and then a fruit depending on their tastes and what was on hand. Most got apples, but the pony, Alf, got a banana instead. :)

It snowed here yesterday. Very unreal! It didn’t stick long though. And sorry, no pictures. I was at work when it happened.

Here’s an updated picture of Maverick’s hoof. We are really pleased with how well it is healing.

We’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas (Happy Holidays)! And send out a HUGE thank you to all of you who have supported us throughout the year. Your support has been an incredible blessing to us, but especially to the horses here at Equine Recline.

We wish all of you much joy throughout the holiday season. Many blessings to you and your family, animals included of course!

Maverick is continuing to heal very well and we are very pleased with his progress.

We’d like to send out a thank you to the County Line Riders of Catalina for their donation! It is so greatly appreciated.

Maverick’s wound is really healing well. We are extremely pleased with how good it’s looking. In just over 3 weeks it has healed an incredible amount. We are also really pleased with how well the French Green Clay has been helping his wound.

Here’s his wound from yesterday.

We’ve been packing his fetlock and leg with the clay to help with swelling, circulation, etc. Oddly enough he does seem to be regaining a very small amount of mobility in that leg and trying to use it more. Hopefully that will continue to an even greater extent!

We are happy to report that Maverick is healing rather well. We have started packing his wound with French Green Clay and so far are really pleased with the results.
