This Christmas we offered shelter to an emaciated, pregnant mare named Natasha. She was in desperate need of help and a safe haven, not just for herself, but also for her unborn baby. While already full, we knew that some how, some way, we had to take her.
It’s a season of miracles, of hope. A time when remembering a baby born in a manager because there wasn’t room at the inn, helped prompt what might seem to some an illogical move. Yet we have already begun to see God’s hand move over this very special mare. People that have stepped forward to donate even a couple of dollars to make sure she and her baby have the chance they deserve.
Won’t you too please help Natasha and her baby?
And by the way her name means Christmas Day.

Wow! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by!
We’ve had some exciting news that I wanted to share with everyone. Thanks to Sherry S., donations made through a donation box at our acupuncturist’s office, and other donations we were able to buy more panels and get a large turnout completely fenced in!
Also the Tucson Federal Credit Union generously donated money for us to buy 15 donation boxes! We are so excited to be able to get these out in the community to help raise awareness and funds.

The holidays are upon us once again and Christmas shopping is about to begin. (Though I know there are those of you who have already finished your Christmas shopping.
)
If you’re shopping online this year don’t forget that you can use iGive.com or Goodshop.com to do your shopping. They often have great coupons and deals you can’t find elsewhere. But best of all your shopping through iGive.com or Goodshop.com raises money for Equine Recline with no extra cost to you!
And if you are researching that perfect gift don’t forget about using isearch.igive.com or goodsearch.com where each search raises money for Equine Recline.
So let the holidays begin!

We’d like to send out huge thank you’s to the following people:
Sherry S for her donation towards fencing
the other Sherry S for her general donation
Ann A for her donation of oat hay. What an unexpected and incredible blessing. The horses are loving this treat!
The horses are all geared up for winter with their wooly coats. Though as of yet it hasn’t been getting too chilly here. Just enough for everyone to be out kicking up their heels in the evening as the days are still fairly warm.

Hi everyone,
Our cause just entered in Facebook America’s Giving Challenge, which gives us a chance to win $50,000!
Please donate today: http://www.causes.com/donations/select_donation_method?m=eed19519&cause_id=190044
To win, between now and November 7th we have to get the most donations to our cause (every person can donate once per day and have it count as a unique donation). We can also win daily awards of $1,000 and $500 if we can get the most people to donate in any 24-hour period. The great thing about this Challenge is that it doesn’t matter how much you give, but instead how much you do to encourage friends and family to get involved in our cause. We all need to come together and start promoting the cause if we want to win.
Each of us has tons of friends on Facebook who we can ask to donate to our cause. But let’s think big too—can you put our cause in your email signature, can you throw a party and get people to donate through the cause when they enter, can you organize other people to go out and fundraise from all of their friends? As you reach out to your friends be sure to tell them why this cause matters to you. The possibilities are endless so let’s talk about what we can do to win on the Wall of the cause or by replying to this bulletin.
I think we can do it! But it’s going to take all of us. Check out the Giving Challenge (www.causes.com?m=eed19519), then visit our cause to see how we’re doing so far and get involved.
Donate right now by going to http://www.causes.com/donations/select_donation_method?m=eed19519&cause_id=190044
Let’s win $50,000 for Equine Recline!

There hasn’t been much going on here lately to report. The weather has been rather unusual here lately, a bit cooler than normal with the highs only in the 90′s instead of over 100. I have to admit it has been rather nice. But the hot weather has come once again and it seems our reprieve is over.
We are going to be starting Maverick on a supplement called Equine Leg Magic. It has apparently been used with some success on horses with contracted tendons.
